SV	En hij legde bezetting in Edom, zodat al de Edomieten Davids knechten werden; en de HEERE behoedde David overal, waar hij heenging.
WLC	וַיָּ֤שֶׂם בֶּֽאֱדֹום֙ נְצִיבִ֔ים וַיִּהְי֥וּ כָל־אֱדֹ֖ום עֲבָדִ֣ים לְדָוִ֑יד וַיֹּ֤ושַׁע יְהוָה֙ אֶת־דָּוִ֔יד בְּכֹ֖ל אֲשֶׁ֥ר הָלָֽךְ׃
Trans.	wayyāśem be’ĕḏwōm nəṣîḇîm wayyihəyû ḵāl-’ĕḏwōm ‘ăḇāḏîm ləḏāwîḏ wayywōš^a‘ JHWH ’eṯ-dāwîḏ bəḵōl ’ăšer hālāḵə:

AC	יג וישם באדום נציבים ויהיו כל אדום עבדים לדויד ויושע יהוה את דויד בכל אשר הלך
ASV	And he put garrisons in Edom; and all the Edomites became servants to David. And Jehovah gave victory to David whithersoever he went.
BE	David put armed forces in all the towns of Edom; and all the Edomites became servants to David. The Lord made David overcome wherever he went.
Darby	And he put garrisons in Edom; and all they of Edom became servants to David. And Jehovah preserved David whithersoever he went.
